Who is VeDA

VeDA is a global consulting, training, coaching, assessment, and research enterprise, facilitating vertical development in individuals, teams, and organizations. We apply our Leadership Maturity Framework in concert with our Harvard-tested Maturity Profile to support our clients in all phases of life-long development. We also train and certify leaders and coaches to work with their teams or clients, using a sophisticated and nuanced developmental coaching approach. VeDA has the largest global database of developmental assessments for leaders using the MAP instrument, administered by highly trained certified raters.

When We Record Meetings/Webinars

We record many programs and webinars to provide to attendees after the fact, and/or to create short training or promotional materials. If you do not want your video or audio recorded, you must alert the presenter before recording begins. We also record the chat messages and questions which are collected during programs and webinars. If you comment using the chat feature, your comments will be recorded. If you put a question in the Q&A panel, your question will be recorded. We will not use your video, audio, likeness, comments, or questions for any purpose unless we receive express permission from you for the intended usage.


Why We Collect Your Data (what we use it for)

We collect your data for several reasons:


Sensitive Personal Data

Certain types of personal information are considered ”sensitive” under applicable data protection laws and are subject to heightened protections. For example, personal data about an individual’s race or ethnic origin, sex life or sexual orientation, and physical or mental health are considered sensitive. VeDA does not collect any such sensitive personal data on the Website. When you engage in taking the MAP Assessment, your personal data is covered under a different agreement.


Data Security

VeDA has implemented measures designed to secure personally identifiable information emailed to it or received through its Website from accidental loss and from unauthorized access, use, alteration and disclosure. All personally identifiable information given to VeDA is stored on the secure wpengine platform, mailchimp campaign platform, Webconnex (Regfox), Thinkific, and Google Drive. 


Unfortunately, transmission of information over the internet is not completely secure. Although VeDA does its best to protect personally identifiable information given to it, VeDA cannot guarantee the security of such information transmitted to VeDA through email. Any transmission of personally identifiable information to VeDA is at the risk of the party transmitting such information. VeDA is not responsible for circumvention of any privacy settings or security measures contained on this Website.
